Evaluate solution
During the construction of the design we decided to not add the sloped portions inside the box because It would be hard to position them inside the box and the rubber bands did not slide down them as designed. We also decided to put the handle of the gun in a hole in the box instead of using a mount because of ease and the materials we had. In addition to that we added a high score board on the side to make it more like an arcade game. Other than those things we really stuck close to the original design.
Present a solution
Liam and I worked well together and we didn't have many disagreements. Our decision matrix had a four way tie on it and we decided to do the shooting gallery because it would be the most fun to build and test. Building the game was relatively easy once we got a few of my dads bread boxes. If we did this again and had more time and better materials to build with I had the idea of using a bike chain and crank to make a conveyor belt with the targets on it making it harder with the moving targets. Next time I would also try to have better targets than just a hole in a box and make the game longer so you have to account for the drop of the rubber band as it loses speed. I would also want the target are to be bigger. Instead of having the high score board made of cardboard I would use a dry erase board so you could edit it neatly.
