Building and Testing
The original idea had the pulley pull a car up the slope, but that was nixed because the car was too hard to tip over and difficult to aim onto the stapler. We instead tied a block made of vex equipment to a string, although lighter, it is a lot easier to aim onto the stapler. We also had to tape the stapler down in order for it not to tip over and deflect the force of the falling weight. |

Conclusion Questions
1.The easiest IMA to find was that of the fixed pulley, because the IMA of a fixed pulley is always one
2. The hardest IMA to find was that of the wheel and axle because it was the hardest to measure because the axle was so small
3. The input force is .018 lbs and the output is 1.25 lbs, we found this by weighing the block, then dividing the weight by the total IMA.
4. We could decrease the diameter of the axle, and decrease the slope of the inclined plane while making it longer.
